Director of Children, Youth and Families 

Mindy Watts-Ellis received her Bachelor of Fine Art degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1996 with a concentration in art education. She has continued certification to teach in elementary and secondary schools since then. Mindy has experience teaching in not-for-profit organizations as well as in public schools. Mindy grew up in the Presbyterian Church (USA) and volunteered regularly before answering the call to enter employed work in ministry with children and youth in 2006. She lives with her husband and two children in Urbana. Mindy enjoys drawing, painting, dancing, acting, reading, and exploring the outdoors.
