Youth Ministry
At First Presbyterian Church, we believe that parents are the primary faith teachers, mentors and role models for their children with the church equipping and supporting, not replacing them in their God given responsibility to pass along the faith to every generation. We also believe that we can make students feel significant by giving them something significant to do, so exposing students to mission work is very important! We strive to build relationships with today’s youth so that they will feel more secure as they grow in their relationship with Christ.
We use various curriculum series’ on Sunday morning, which supports these crucial values. We also offer a year long Confirmation experience for 8th graders who choose to participate in an in depth study of God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and the Presbyterian Church, led by strong Christian mentors.
